Congrats on your move! The country is a lovely place to escape. Thankfully, we had much better success with our garden this year from last year, but still had some things that need some adjusting for next year.. we are trying a fall garden this year for the first time so we will see how that goes!

I can't wait to hear about your fall garden! I think you will love it. What are you growing?

Kale, broccoli, and Brussel sprouts. I tried Brussels sprouts and broccoli in the spring but I don’t think I planted them seen enough. They didn’t produce any vegetables

For the broccoli and Brussels sprouts, what did they do? Just stay leafy and then succomb to the heat? get too buggy?

They took forever to grow and then they finally shot up, but yes got too buggy I think. One broccoli plant started to produce a broccoli head but never really turned into anything big so I never picked it.

I hope you are labeling the bags! Of course, it may not matter to you what and where you are planting the wildflowers!

I did not label the bags.... I'm hoping I can identify based on stems and leaves. labeling would be a great thing to do!

Welcome neighbor! I remember when we left our garden in the city- I drove by weeks later and saw a beautiful red bell pepper just begging to be picked. It was all I could do to not pick it and keep on driving. We left in the spring, so we didn’t get much.
