I enjoyed this post! Thank you for taking the time to write

I love the idea of sharing what people are eating and listening to and reading. We enjoy fresh eggs almost every morning with either applesauce oatmeal muffins (for the fiber) or sausage sourdough muffins. Lunch is usually a hodgepodge. For dinner I’ve been experimenting with eating more seasonally so this winter it typically involves potatoes, broccoli, carrots, rice or sourdough, and some meat. I’m experimenting with how many different ways I can cook each of these veggies. I think it keeps my creative juices flowing to have cooking challenges.

Right now I’m listening to the clack of magnet tiles, but when I have the brain energy I listen to Nancy Pearcy’s new book β€œThe Toxic War on Masculinity.”

Morgan and I LOL'd at the magnet tile clacking comment! And the sausage sourdough muffins sound amazing - Want that recipe!

We keep seeing that book mentioned; you will have to let us know how it is!

Thanks for sharing with us and we are glad you enjoyed.

Sausage Sourdough Muffins

1/2 cup sourdough starter

1 1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup water

Mix and let sit overnight

In the morning add:

2 eggs

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup of shredded cheese (or more)

1 lb of raw sausage cut into bits

1 stick melted butter

Mix with sourdough mixture, it’s difficult so you may need to get your hands dirty! Mix to where stuff is evenly distributed but not homogenized. Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned at 375* in a muffin pan or as biscuits. Baking time is flexible, I normally wing it.
