Tonight is the winter solstice – the longest night of the year. It is warm in my home with logs up in flames inside our fireplace. The record player is playing a Christmas album, and my wife and children are all here. We are well. Life is good.
As the Christmas season flows along, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a warm, slow, and very Merry Christmas. May the Lord’s peace and grace rest upon you and your household during this blessed season.
Tonight, we rest. Tomorrow, our hemisphere begins its deliberate march towards Light and Life.
Before you go!
